• PR and communications experience in the Dutch private sector
• Communications experience in the NGO sector to improve welfare of Lithuanian animals (Amsterdam, the Netherlands)
• Communications traineeship at a startup that aims to make audio accessible to everyone. (Amsterdam, the Netherlands)
• Internship at the Lithuanian Embassy in The Hague, Netherlands
• Internship at the Lithuanian Embassy in Madrid, Spain

Motivation

Life abroad was truly a rewarding experience. Getting to know new cultures, different people and being exposed to many opportunities seemed a dream come true. However, living in different countries also made me appreciate my own. While getting to know the wide world, I was still concerned about topics important to Lithuania and knew that the day would come when, having gained enough experience, I would want to return and create the future of Lithuania.

And after five years spent abroad, this day came. I am returning to my homeland determined to contribute to issues important to Lithuania. ‘Kurk Lietuvai’ provides an excellent opportunity to do this: to initiate positive change in the country using gained international knowledge but also learning from others.
