Motivation
Responsibility is the most important characteristic of an individual. The latter is important not only toward oneself but also toward others. I believe that a responsible and conscious person can create not only the well-being of their life but also contribute to the well-being of future generations.
The Create Lithuania programme is one of the examples of how a responsible citizen of the country can contribute with their creativity, knowledge, and leadership to the solution of the most pressing problems in Lithuania and the creation of a breakthrough for the state.
At the moment, the topic of sustainability is very relevant—we are seeing the first results of climate change, not only on a global level but also in Lithuania. In taking care of the well-being of future generations, it is necessary to learn from past mistakes, make important, perhaps not always convenient decisions, shake off stagnant thinking, and constantly look for breakthroughs not only in science and technology but also in communication. Effective communication—quick decision-making and implementation, connecting common contact points, and achieving the desired result.
Continuous improvement and lifelong learning are important for the implementation of results. It is an integral part of my life; it is my value. I believe that it is the same for you as well. I believe that each of us has unique and valuable knowledge and lessons in life’s journey. I believe that the experience and expertise I have gained in academia and industry can be of use in a green skills project.
