Motivation
I became interested in civil society, while I was still studying at school. I was interested in involving young people in discussions, decision–making, and joined Non–Governmental Organizations. Civil society remained relevant even during my studies in France, I was a board member of the French Lithuanian Youth Union and the coordinator of the Lithuanian initiative “Mūsų metas Dabar”.
The public sector did not seem like an attractive workplace for a young person. I hope that working with projects in “Create Lithuania” program I will be able to change this opinion and not only gain more knowledge about the public sector, but also share my ideas and draw attention to the problems that we will be analysing and deepening our knowledge during the project.
