Motivation
I’m a chartered landscape architect. After graduating in Architecture from VDA, I went to the United Kingdom to gain experience, broaden my horizons and deepen my interest in the fields of landscape and urban design. After successfully completing my Master’s degree, I started working and now have seven years of experience in urban planning, public realm design and preparation of guidance documents. In parallel, I am an educator, teaching garden design and drawing for beginners.
Together with like–minded professionals, I have founded the Living City Initiative on a voluntary basis, where we actively promote the development of green infrastructure in Lithuanian cities.
The themes that interest me and are relevant in the Lithuanian context are sustainable urban development, the quality of public spaces and the systematic involvement of the public in their planning. I believe that I can successfully contribute with my experience to bring about good changes in these areas.
