Motivation
The Create Lithuania programme speaks to the determination of Lithuania’s public sector to face challenges through innovative, even experimental, solutions. My work as a policy researcher has taught me how to unravel complex problems, to break them down so that policymakers can better understand how to address them. Create Lithuania allows me to move beyond analysis and take part in crafting the solutions to these challenges. For me, the programme is a chance to play an active role in changemaking and make a meaningful difference in Lithuania, my new home.

Towards a high-value bioeconomy: identifying strategic policy options for the national bioeconomy strategy

The goal of the project is to support the development of Lithuania’s National Bioeconomy Strategy by identifying key policy and regulatory tools that can facilitate the creation of higher value-added bio-based products.

Global Gateway: from EU policy to real opportunities for the Lithuanian economy.

The goal of the project is to assess whether it is feasible for Lithuanian stakeholders to participate in Global Gateway projects. The project seeks to define in which capacity Lithuanian entities can participate in Global Gateway activities and, identify where the most opportunities for participation lie.
