Motivation
I have admired the Kurk Lietuvai community for a very long time – the inspiring people who share their interesting experiences and the activities they carry out. With my experience of studying and interning abroad, working in the public sector and believing in the potential of this project, I am convinced that I can contribute to a better Lithuania.
I graduated in Political Science from Vilnius University, worked for two years in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, and contributed to decision–making in the fields of social and health affairs. I have also had internships at the European Parliament in Brussels, the European Commission Representation in Lithuania, Lithuanian businesses, and have been active in a human rights organisation. Since 2016, I have been actively interested in civil society engagement processes and environmental issues at national and international level.
The experience of working in the Lithuanian public sector has allowed me to understand not only the specifics of the work, but also to grasp and see the most sensitive issues in the public sector. I look forward to contributing to the strengthening of this sector by taking advantage of the opportunity of being part of the Kurk Lietuvai project!
